Get Luigi-II
Download the Luigi-II Mainframe, install it on your farm computer, and start with free demonstration licenses.
A practical path from curious to running
Luigi-II starts with the Mainframe: the desktop program that holds the farm operation, modules, records, evidence, reports, licensing, and day-to-day navigation. Install the Mainframe first, then request a free 30-day demonstration license. Once the Mainframe is running, individual modules can also be tried with free 30-day module demonstration licenses.
1. Host system prerequisites
Luigi-II is intended to run on a normal farm office Windows computer. It does not require a server room, a cloud subscription, or a full-time IT person.
- Windows 11 Pro or Windows 11 Home desktop or laptop computer.
- Modern 64-bit processor.
- 8 GB RAM minimum; 16 GB recommended for larger operations or heavy mapping/report use.
- At least 2 GB free disk space for the base installation, plus room for farm records, maps, scans, photos, and evidence files.
- Screen resolution of 1366 × 768 minimum; larger monitors are recommended for mapping and record review.
- Printer or PDF print support for reports, audits, work orders, and evidence packages.
- Internet connection required for download, activation, demonstration licensing, support, and updates.
- Farm office Wi-Fi recommended for mobile field collection and local device sync features.
2. Download and install the Mainframe
Download the Luigi-II Mainframe installer to the farm office computer. After the download completes, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Click the Mainframe download button.
- Save the installer where you can find it, such as Downloads or Desktop.
- Run the installer.
- Accept the Windows security prompts only if the installer came from the official Luigi-II website.
- Start Luigi-II from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
3. Get a free 30-day Mainframe demonstration license
After the Mainframe is installed, open Luigi-II and request a free 30-day demonstration license. The demonstration license lets you try the base Mainframe before buying a perpetual license.
- Open Luigi-II Mainframe.
- Choose the licensing option shown at startup.
- Request a free 30-day Mainframe demonstration license.
- Activate the license on the same computer where Luigi-II is installed.
4. Try modules from inside Luigi-II
Once the Mainframe is running, available modules can be reviewed from inside Luigi-II. Many modules can be tried with their own free 30-day demonstration licenses, so a farm can test the tools that matter before deciding what to keep.
This keeps Luigi-II modular: start with the Mainframe, then add the capabilities your operation actually needs.

What the demonstration license is for
The 30-day demonstration period is meant for real farm evaluation. Install it, open it, look through the records, try the workflow, test the reports, and decide whether Luigi-II fits how your operation actually works.
